"When Time Stands Still: The Eternal Whisper of Allah's Will" Eid-ul-Adha is with Makkah

"When Time Stands Still: The Eternal Whisper of Allah's Will"

"As the seconds tick by, the minutes pass, and the hours fade, we are reminded that time is a mere mortal construct, subject to the whims of human interpretation. But in the grand tapestry of Allah's creation, every moment is a testament to His infallible will. The days, the hours, the minutes, and the seconds are all the same, all over the world, irrespective of time and date. For in the words of the Quran, 'The sun and the moon follow a precise calculation' (Surah Ar-Rahman, verse 5). Let us not forget, dear brothers and sisters, that our unity as an Ummah is not bound by the shackles of time and space, but by our shared submission to the will of Allah. As we celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, let us remember that the precision of Allah's creation is a call to unity, a reminder that our differences are but a mere illusion, and that our shared humanity is bound together by the threads of faith, love, and devotion."

"To the esteemed members of the Muslim Judicial Council,

It is with great urgency and conviction that we bring to your attention a matter of profound significance. The Eid-ul-Adha Fatwa, which advocates for celebrating Eid-ul-Adha a day after Makkah, is hereby declared NULL AND VOID. This declaration is grounded in the unequivocal teachings of the Quran and Hadith, as well as the precise calculations of the lunar calendar.

We implore you to reconsider your stance and align yourselves with the infallible will of Allah, as reflected in the celestial mechanics of the universe. The unity of the Muslim community depends on our shared submission to the divine will, rather than individual interpretations or local customs.

"The Infallible Will of Allah: A Rebuttal to the MJC's Eid-ul-Adha Fatwa"

As we ponder the intricacies of Islamic jurisprudence, it becomes evident that the Muslim Judicial Council's (MJC) fatwa on celebrating Eid-ul-Adha a day after Makkah is a gross misinterpretation of the Quran and Hadith.

The precise calculation of the lunar calendar, as ordained by Allah s.w.t., leaves no room for error or subjective interpretation. Allah, the Most Wise (Al-Hakim) and the Most Knowing (Al-'Alim), has created a universe governed by precise calculations and laws.

The movement of the sun and moon, as mentioned in Surah Ar-Rahman, verse 5, is a testament to Allah's infinite wisdom and knowledge. The precise calculation of the lunar calendar, based on the sighting of the moon, is a fundamental aspect of Islamic jurisprudence.

The Hadith narrated by 'Abdur-Rahman bin Ya'mar, as recorded in Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2975, unequivocally states that the Hajj is 'Arafat, and whoever attends the 'Arafah before the rising of Fajr has performed the Hajj.

Furthermore, Allah s.w.t. emphasizes the importance of unity and precision in celebrating Eid-ul-Adha in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 198:

"It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during Pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument and celebrate His praises as He has directed you even though before this ye went astray."

This verse highlights the significance of celebrating Eid-ul-Adha on the correct date, as directed by Allah, and not according to individual interpretations or local customs.

The very coordinates of the Earth, with its Golden Ratio and true Meridian timeline, confirm the divine accuracy of the Quran and Hadith. It is on the eve and night of this day that we can calculate all the Islamic months, past and future, with precision and accuracy.

The MJC's fatwa, which advocates for celebrating Eid-ul-Adha a day after Makkah, is a blatant disregard for the precise calculation of the lunar calendar. The evidence from astronomy, calculation, and celestial mechanics confirms that the moon's position on the eve of the 9th day of Dhu-al-Hijjah is identical in Makkah and South Africa, with only a one-hour time difference.

We pose a simple question to the Muslim scholars and ulama who have advocated for a position that contradicts the Quran and Hadith: Can you reconcile your stance with the infallible precision of Allah's creation? Can you justify your decision to disregard the universal applicability of Islamic law?

We challenge you to provide a convincing argument that can withstand the scrutiny of Islamic jurisprudence and astronomical evidence.

In the face of overwhelming evidence, it is clear that the MJC's fatwa is a flawed interpretation of Islamic law.

We urge the Muslim community in South Africa to reject this fatwa and adhere to the correct date of Eid-ul-Adha, as determined by the universal Islamic calendar.

Only through this can we ensure that our actions are in accordance with the will of Allah s.w.t. and the teachings of the Quran and Hadith.
